Why software engineering

My journey began as a marketing and sales manager at a small agency working with the web development team on client website jobs. So I could better understand the projects I was overseeing, I began teaching myself basic web development at night and immediately became enamored with programming and tech. Motivated, I made the move to San Francisco to be closer to it all, and as a marketing manager at a growing tech company, I worked with the engineering team to help refine the product to better meet the needs of our users. Seeing the impact I could make to improve people's experience was the tipping point, and I decided then to fully pursue software engineering.

Fun Facts

I decided to delve into software development so that I could touch and improve more lives through the products I create. When I'm not coding, you'll find me playing with my new daughter, doing everything humanly possible to get her to laugh. I also love playing video games and listening to Witcher novels while exercising.
